Norwich Bed and Breakfast at Shear Luck Farm is conveniently located a quick four miles form Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and only two miles from the center of the town of Norwich, Vermont. Situated on twenty magnificent acres, our home is a 125 year old traditional New England farm house, a wondrous gem from a by-gone era. Norwich Bed and Breakfast, nestled atop Bradley Hill, offers its guests majestic views of the snow-capped White Mountains and some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Vermont. |

Across a country road lined with mature maples is an historic one-hundred-year old post and beam barn, a landmark in the area. This barn is home to a flock of friendly ewes and curious hens. Our tranquil country setting beckons outdoor enthusiasts to long walks and bike rides along miles of meandering unpaved roads-especially spectacular during fall foliage. When the snow falls, guests take to our open fields for cross country skiing and snowshoeing surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming are accessible locally, as are golf, tennis, skating and downhill skiing. Dartmouth Skiway in nearby Lyme, New Hampshire, a twenty-minute drive from the bed and breakfast, provides skiing fun for the entire family. While the Upper Valley area boasts some of the best dining in New Hampshire and Vermont, you will discover the finest country dining right here at the inn! At Norwich Bed & Breakfast we like to cook and eat fresh organic food! We make our own maple syrup, raise lamb, and collect fresh eggs on the farm, and purchase as much as we can locally from area farmers. Natural, raw milk comes from Norwich Farms, organic vegetables from Kildeer Farm, organic ice cream from Strafford Organic Creamery, to name a few. We are happy to accommodate inn guests for dinner - please let us know in advance and we will cook a meal of your choice based on the sample menu below.
