We invite you to stay with us at the Marble West Inn, an informal yet elegant country inn off the busy main road where our emphasis is on your comfort in relaxed and beautiful surroundings.

Located in a quintessential village setting which captures the essence of Vermont. The Marble West Inn is just outside the village and nestled between two mountains. The grounds are beautifully manicured and include two small ponds, stocked with trout. The ponds are fed by a rolling mountain brook behind the Inn. Very relaxing! The Dorset area offers many activities including, biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, tennis, cross country and downhill skiing, as well as many antique shops and fine restaurants. Manchester Village, only minutes away, offers designer outlet and specialty stores, as well as many fabulous restaurants. Enjoy a stroll through Robert Todd Lincoln's Hildene or the Southern Vermont Art Center.

Accommodations: Eight rooms each individually appointed, all have private baths. All guest rooms are air conditioned. First floor king / twin option with private exterior entrance; suite with queen bed, fireplace and sitting area, mountain and garden views. The second floor can be reached by two separate staircases, king four poster bed, queens with four poster or canopies and fireplaces and king/twin options, with shower/bath and one with claw foot soaking tub and shower. Plus: Fireplace in the library and music rooms. Afternoon refreshments. Breakfast: Three course candlelit breakfast, (examples) fresh fruit, fresh assortment of muffins, sundried tomato and asiago cheese frittata, red flannel hash, pear filled french toast.
