Introduction
Welcome to the Lincoln Inn in Woodstock, Vermont! Check in to this historic six room inn, originally owned by our nation's 16th president's cousin, and you've found the perfect place to experience all that is Vermont.
The eclectic decor and fun-loving innkeepers set the stage for a getaway that is as relaxed or action-packed as you like. Curl up in front of the fire with your favorite read in the Library or raid the board game cabinet and enjoy a few laughs with friends and fellow guests. Enjoy the crackle of our other wood burning fireplace in Mango's Tavern, which typically opens at 5, but we are happy to serve up libations at any time if the "spirit" moves you.
The Lincoln Inn is Wi-Fi friendly so please feel free to bring along all of your cyber space traveling companions.
Located on six beautiful acres bordered by a river and historic covered bridge, the Lincoln Inn also offers you an extensive outdoor retreat or playground. Picnic on the riverbank, play on the tire swing, enjoy a glass of wine in one of our Adirondack chairs or just relax in our oversized hammock. In warmer months dine on the upper lawn, overlooking the river, at Mango's Terrace.
Woodstock, a destination in and of itself, is the perfect venue to begin your journey. Located in the central region of the Green Mountain State the inn serves as an ideal retreat or playground for those seeking to escape the city or just searching for that classic Vermont experience. Come, be our guest. Be it north, south, east or west the Lincoln Inn is a perfect spot to hang your hat while you explore our many local, regional and statewide attractions. We are happy to assist in making arrangements to see all that our four season state has to offer during your stay. Book online or call now to confirm your Vermont vacation.
On Tuesday through Saturday evenings the inn's restaurant, Mangowood, is open to the public. Experience a night of casual fine dining where Chef/Owner Teresa Tan artfully blends local fare with exotic herbs and spices from afar. Truly inspired and how wonderful to just crawl up to bed and not have to drive after a night of fine food and wine. If you'd like to dine at the bar or meet friends for drinks before dinner Mango's Tavern is a great place to start your evening. In cooler months many of our guests opt to relax in front of the Tavern's roaring fire for a night cap with dessert.
Awake to the scent of Green Mountain Coffee (enjoy an early morning cup in your room too). Your stay includes a Le Cordon Bleu chef-prepared, full pre-set breakfast each morning and the Chef is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
In addition to offering an intimate setting for two, a place to stay with close friends or even home away from home
with the family, the Lincoln Inn is an exceptional venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners and private gatherings.
All guest rooms are located on the second floor (13 steps) and have private bathrooms. In-room amenities include complimentary bottled water, conditioning shampoo, soap, cotton wool and swabs, make-up remover, blow dryer, alarm clock, ironing board and iron. There is an extra blanket in each room although you'll probably never need it as each bed is made up with both a fluffy comforter and is topped with a quilt. Some rooms come with feathers and others do not. If you are allergic to down please let us know in advance of your arrival so that we can properly outfit your room.
We are mindful of our beautiful environment and encourage you to assist with our recycling efforts. We have placed a recycling basket in each guest room for you to deposit used cans as well as plastic & glass bottles. To conserve water towels are replaced after two nights of use and bed linens after 3 nights of slumber. If you need towels replaced sooner please leave those you use in your shower.
