Introduction
Juniper Hill Inn is a 28 room colonial revival mansion built in 1902 for one of America's captains of Industry. This elegantly fully restored home is on the National Register of Historic Places and affords unparalleled views of Lake Runnemede and Mount Ascutney. Our 14 acres of manicured lawns and perennial
gardens makes us the ideal location to relax and enjoy nature's grandure.
"Welcome"
Most inns claim to be romantic destinations: In 1997 Juniper Hill Inn was named a "Romantic Hideaway by the Descerning Traveler". Juniper Hill Inn has been featured in the "Boston Globe" for weddings and romantic escapes. You may read about us in "Best Places to Kiss in New England", "Best Places to Stay in New England", "Recommended Country Inns of New England", "Vermont Life" or many more magazines and premiere guidebooks.
Our Chambers range from $105-$210 plus tax per room, per evening, with private baths. Our rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon refreshments. All rooms feature period antiques and comfortable four poster or canopy beds, air conditioning and c/d players with c/ds. Many rooms offer woodburning or gas fireplaces. Each room is individually decorated to reflect the charm and character of our home and always feature fresh flowers, decanters of sherry, chocolates and numerous other amenities.
There is much to do in the Upper Connecticut River Valley of Vermont. In
Windsor you may visit The Vermont State Craft Center, The Constitution
House, The Longest Covered Bridge in the World, The American Precision Museum, Simon Pearce
Glass & Pottery Studios or Harpoon Brewery, and the Cornish Colony Museum featuring the art of Maxfield Parrish, Augustus St. Gaudins and others. Quaint shops beckon from the nearby
villages of Woodstock or Quechee. In addition to galleries, museums, shops
or Dartmouth College you will undoubtedly find much to your liking. We would
be happy to arrange for canoe rentals, horseback rides, bicycling, golf, tennis, hiking, or
skiing of all types. How about that horse drawn sleighride you always wanted to take? All this
and much more awaits you at Juniper Hill Inn.
