The Inn at Rutland, built in 1889, is a Victorian mansion immaculately maintained and lovingly restored.

Relax on our wraparound front porch and take in the great mountain views. We are close to all Vermont attractions, and within walking distance to fine shopping and dining. The Inn has a carriage house for bicycle and ski storage, for our guests. We are only 15 miles to Killington and Pico ski areas, where you can experience some of the finest skiing in the East.

Each of our richly appointed rooms, some with fireplaces, has been detailed to include the amenities expected by the discriminating traveler, while maintaining a Victorian ambiance.

The interior is rich in ambience with period architectural details, including the warm leather wainscotting in the dining room and the leaded glass window over the formal grand staircase. A 3 course gourmet breakfast is served by your hosts in our formal dining room, and is included with your lodging.

The Inn is located in Central Vermont, the heart of the Green Mountain state, on Route 7, 1 block north of the Rt.4 East Interchange.
