Travel information about Vermont

Vermont is a popular destination due to the beautiful views of fall foliage. Visit historical sights that date to the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, cross-country and downhill skiing and water activities on Lake Champlain. Try golfing on a local golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Summer festivals are popular in the area, featuring jazz music, quilting and hot air balloons. Also, if you visit during the summer be sure to try Ben and Jerry's ice cream, as the first Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream store opened in Burlington in 1978 and still continues to be an ice cream favorite.
