Introduction
High Meadow Bed and Breakfast - Goshen, Vermont High Meadow Bed and Breakfast and Vacation Rental, set in a magnificent mountain meadow with water and mountain views, is a cheerful, intimate sunny cottage in the Green Mountain National Forest area in Goshen, Vermont. High Meadow also offers long-term room rental and whole-house rentals with adequate notice. You have your choice of three bedrooms with 2 twins, a queen, a king or full-sized bed. Additional cot bed in room is $35. Rooms are priced according to season and shared or private bath.

High Meadow is situated just 25 minutes southeast from Middlebury College and 15 minutes from the famous Breadloaf Writer's Conference Center. Middlebury features lovely "one of a kind" shops, traditional family style as well as ethnic and health food restaurants, and small galleries.

Guests wanting a very early breakfast will find a self-serve buffet, and a more elaborate hot, full-service breakfast will be available later. Patrice is a degreed chef who emphasizes organic whole foods and grows much of what she serves herself. All breakfasts will include fresh or cooked fruit medleys; home-baked biscuits, breads, and muffins; a choice of cereals; robust coffee; and an assortment of teas and chais. Lunch and dinner are available with advance notice, and guests are welcome to store food in refrigerator. Patrice will prepare meals for those with special dietary needs upon advance request.

Rates and Policies
  • Rates: $95 per night shared bath / $105 per night private bath, based on double occupancy. Rates are subject to change without notice. Ask innkeeper about renting whole house.
  • Open: May through October and December through March (closed November and April).
  • Payment: Payment in full is required prior to arrival (cash required if arrival is within 3 days of making reservation). Money orders, personal travelers' checks, and cash accepted).
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 7 days (3 weeks for reservations during graduation and foliage season) prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days/3 weeks of the scheduled arrival date will be refunded if a room replacement is found.
  • Restrictions: No smoking. No loud noise after 10 p.m.
