Each morning wake up to the aroma of a bountiful country breakfast featuring all homemade organic and vegetarian foods and fresh brewed coffee. As we love baking, you will often find scrumptious, yet mildly sweetened scones, muffins, and breads. After a full day wander out onto the flower-filled wrap-around porch and gaze at the Green Mountains, or take a stroll through the Perennial gardens in the back yard.

Top off your day by driving into historic downtown Rutland (only three miles away) where you will find several fine restaurants, theatres, and pubs.

At Harvest Moon each of our two guest rooms has a private bath. Our rooms are well appointed with period furnishings and comfortable linens and quilts. The three common areas featuring a formal parlor with turn of the century piano, antiquarian library, and views of the Green Mountains is the perfect place to relax with a good book and a cup of hot tea. The living room features a plush sofa, antique rockers and a TV, the perfect room for after a long day of skiing. The dining room is a classic with warm wainscoting, a built in hutch, and antique wood cook stove. Each room in Harvest Moon has wonderful detailing from vintage wallpaper to original Victorian fixtures. We are able to accommodate parties of up to seven. Families with small children welcome. $95-135
