Our highly seasoned staff can help you dream up your perfect wedding menu. Pricing varies from menu to menu, but generally speaking the food and beverage costs for a five hour reception run as follows:
- Entrée with soup, salad, starch & vegetable $28 - $40 per person. Sweet Potato Bisque laced with crème fraîche and dried apple chip. Chiffonade of Boston Bib, Radicchio, thinly sliced mango, avocado, crumbled chèvre tossed in a papaya vinaigrette and served in a fried plantain bowl. Roasted Salmon Marinated in cider, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato bird’s nest. Duck breast stuffed with curried apricot raisin stuffing, confit duck leg, with mango, black currant coulis. These are but a few of the sumptuous offerings from which you can choose. We can work with you to create the perfect menu for your special day. Prices above reflect up to three entrée choices and require an advance count by entrée.
- Wedding cakes $3.50 and up per person. From fondants to butter creams our very talented chef can create your perfect wedding cake. Bring him a photo or work with him to re-create your own vision.
- Butlered hot and cold hors d’oeuvres (1 hr) $8 - $24+ per person. Hors d’oeuvre ingredients and hence costs can vary widely. Our executive chef can help you design an offering that fits your vision and your budget.
- Non-alcoholic beverages $2 per person. Unlimited coffee, tea, soda and non alcoholic punch.
- Cocktails wine and champagne $27 - $35+ per person. The Four Chimneys offers both a cash bar and an open bar option. With the open bar option your bill is based on the actual number of drinks poured and the actual wine and champagne bottles opened. Typically the hosts select a red and a white wine to pour with dinner and a champagne for the toast. While each party varies, for budgeting purposes you can usually factor $27 - $35 per person for alcohol if you are running an open bar for a five hour reception.
Taxes and other fees
A 9% meals tax, 10% alcohol tax and 20% gratuity will be added.
Because we are a small, intimate inn, it is usually necessary to book all eleven rooms for Friday and Saturday night if you are planning a Saturday evening wedding. More importantly, this allows us to focus on your reception only; we are not distracted by serving other guests. Typically a bride and groom will secure rooms with their credit card and then let guests pay for their own rooms upon arrival. The restaurant is closed to the public on the day of the event and is generally open to the public on the night prior to your event unless you choose to have your rehearsal dinner at The Four Chimneys.
Site Fees vary from season to season and include:
- Pre and post-wedding portrait photography privileges
- Limited use of the garden and lawns
- Wedding ceremony rehearsal
- Set up of all tables, chairs and dance floor
- Use of white linens, china, silverware, bar ware and cake knife & server and sound system (if no DJ or band).
- Superior guest room for one evening at the Inn

- Winter (November through May) $250 ($750 if holiday)
- Summer (June through August) $1,500
