Paddling The Kingdom (5/1/2008 thru 11/30/2008)
Over the course of two days you will learn the basics of paddling with an experienced guide as part of a small group. Your guide will teach you everything from mounting your craft onto your car to basic safety and paddling. After checking in the night before, you will begin and end each day at the Estabrook House. The first day you will go to a nearby lake to complete your basic training and practice what you have learned. As you return home to the Estabrook House your guides will stop along the way so that you can enjoy an old favorite or two in the region. Day 2 your guide will take you to a second spot to discover more of the world around you from the quiet of your watercraft. This package includes a 2 night stay at Estabrook House with complimentary breakfast each morning, packed lunch, 1 dinner at the house, 2 half day rentals with guide services, and a guidebook or map of the area. Not a beginner? Don't worry. Your guide will work with your experience level. Package price is per person and does not include Vermont State Taxes. Confirmation is based on availability of all services.

Kayaking - May to November 2008

Hiking The Kingdom (5/1/2008 thru 11/30/2008)
A half day hike along one of the Northeast Kingdom's mountains provides vistas that change with the season. Having someone show you where the best spots are is worth it. The hikes may be to Burke Mountain, Mt. Pisgah, Mt. Hoy, or some other trails that are equally worth the trip. Hikes average 2-4 hours depending on the condition of the group. This package includes a 2 night stay at the Estabrook House with complimentary breakfast each morning, packed lunch, 1 dinner at the house, 2 half day rentals with guide services, and a hiking map of the area. Package price does not include Vermont State Taxes. Confirmation is based on availability of all services.
