Derby is a scenic little town located in Orleans county in the upper most part of Vermont. It has many fun festivals and events like the Blue Grass Festival in August and Oktoberfest. Stay at a Derby bed and breakfast or inn and have a warm place to come back after cross country skiing or ice fishing. Derby has many B&Bs with great restaurants such as Juniper's. While staying at a Derby bed and breakfast you could visit the Historic Haskell Free Library and Opera House. Half of the Opera House is in Canada and the other half is in the United States.
