Introduction

The Birch Ridge Inn is conveniently located in the Green Mountains, midway between Rutland and Woodstock Vermont, less than 1 mile from the Killington Ski and Golf Resort. The Birch Ridge Inn combines the best that a Vermont Country Inn can offer with the architectural flair typically found in alpine lodges in the Western United States or Europe. The inn is located high on a ridge dotted with silver and white birch trees.

The entrance to the Birch Ridge Inn is through a covered carriageway, reminiscent of a Vermont covered bridge. Once you travel through the carriageway, two massive A-frame buildings, constructed out of Vermont Slate, dominate the grounds. For your dining pleasure, one of the A-frames features a gourmet restaurant. In the second, you will find a comfortable great room, where you can put your feet up in front of a slate fireplace with your favorite beverage in hand. Between the two, you will find a comfortable sitting room suitable for out of the way relaxation.

The Birch Ridge Inn features ten individually decorated guest rooms. Six rooms feature fireplaces, and four of the fireplace rooms also have whirlpool tubs for two. All rooms feature the amenities you expect when you are traveling, including sitting areas, private baths, televisions, and telephones. Since you are visiting an elegant Vermont Inn, however, the televisions in most rooms are discretely hidden when not in use. The Birch Ridge Inn is also fully handicap accessible.
