Nestled at the foot of the Green Mountains, the Inn at Baldwin Creek reflects the unique flavor of Vermont. Our cozy, romantic bed and breakfast inn, the adventurous cuisine of Mary's at Baldwin Creek and our warm welcome offer an unforgettable Vermont experience. Our restored 1797 Vermont farmhouse inn is the perfect setting for romantic epicurean escapes.

Twenty-five picturesque acres, midway between Burlington, Middlebury and Middlebury College, encompass manicured lawns, Vermont woodlands and pristine Baldwin Creek. This beautiful setting is ideal for casually elegant weddings and civil unions.

Mary's Restaurant and the Creek Bar are located on the main floor of the Inn. Since 1983 chef-owner Doug Mack has offered seasonally-changing, creative and eclectic menus with an emphasis on local products. Menu offerings range from fresh fish and vegetarian to naturally-raised beef, lamb, venison and chicken.

Our five cozy guest rooms are tastefully decorated to surround you in simple comfort.
All bedrooms feature queen or king beds with luxurious linens and down comforters.
The rooms all have private baths, some with claw foot tub and one with whirlpool tub.

A three-course farm-fresh breakfast is included with your stay. A bottomless cookie jar and coffee or tea are always available for our guests. There is a comfortable common room on the main floor for conversation and reading. Our heated pool located just beyond the orchard is open for use by our Inn guests in season.

Policies
  • Room Rates range from $85 - $215 per night.
  • Room rates are based upon double occupancy and include breakfast.
  • Corporate mid-week rates and extended stay rates are available.
  • There is a $25 charge for each additional adult in the room.
  • Subtract $10 from standard rates for single occupancy.
  • 9% Vermont Rooms and Meals tax is additional.
  • Room rates are subject to change without notice.
  • There is a two night minimum stay on some weekends, particularly in season.
  • Holiday weekends may require a three night stay.
  • Rooms are confirmed with a credit card guarantee or a deposit by personal check equal to one night's stay.
  • We accept cash, personal check, traveler's check, VISA, and MasterCard in payment.
  • If you must cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 14 days prior to your arrival for a full refund, less a $25 administrative charge per room.
  • A 30-day cancellation notice is required during peak season dates-foliage, graduation, holiday periods and for groups booking three or more rooms.
  • If cancellation is received after this time, the deposit will only be returned if we are able re-book your room(s).
  • The Inn at Baldwin Creek is entirely smoke-free. Smoking is allowed only outside on the outdoor porch.
  • We cannot allow pets at the Inn.
  • Check-in: 3 - 6 p.m. daily. Please contact us if you need to arrange for an earlier or later arrival. Check-out: 11 a.m. or by prior arrangement.
