Why struggle week after week at the flying field when you can take our class and learn to fly in a matter of days without crashes. The number of days is up to you - you will have one-on-one instruction from Bob Harris, an expert instructor with a lifetime of experience in modeling. You can concentrate on learning all that you can during the day and be pampered with delicious food and a comfortable private room while you are here. Bring along a friend and they can take a stained glass class while here, or spend the days antiquing, sightseeing or enjoying the many water activities. Instruction is $200 per day plus fuel, lodging $85 per night, includes breakfast and lunch.

Weekend Stained Glass Getaway - Escape from city and crowded suburban life for two days, and create your own stained glass panel while you are here.

Arrive on Friday evening in time to watch the sunset over Morattico Creek. Relax with a glass of wine or cup of tea, and savor the silence. Instead of traffic, you will hear the sound of osprey and seagulls,and the unmistakable territorial call of "Harry", the Great Blue Heron who rules Chestnut Cove.

Saturday morning, enjoy a hearty country breakfast, complete with home baked rolls, and then out to the Zekiah Glass studio for class. Barney and Bob will work with you on your own design ideas, and draw the template or "cartoon". If you are a novice, we will guide you through the basics, from how to cut the glass to how to solder a beautiful bead. If you have prior stained glass experience, we will tailor the class to your desires and give you whatever assistance you wish to enable you to enjoy your hobby more by learning new techniques and perfecting your skills.

In just two days of instruction (maximum class size 4 persons) you will complete a stained glass panel of your own design, ready to take home and hang with pride.

Breakfast and lunch are included with each day's class.
All materials and use of our tools and machines included in the class fee. Your only additional cost is for the glass you choose for your project.

Third night available at reduced rate. Stay the extra night and REALLY relax. Barney will prepare breakfast the last morning to fortify you for the return to reality.

We will nourish your creativity and give you a new confidence in your abilities. Our 15 acre waterfront location is full of wildlife and far from city lights - yet an easy drive from many metropolitan areas.
