Movie Date Night Weekend Package (04/21/2009 thru 12/15/2009) Check into the William Miller House late Friday afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine while you plan which first-run feature to select at the new BowTie Movieland Cinemas on Boulevard Friday evening. The movie house features 17 screens and all have stadium seating and Dolby Digital Sound; they even have a wine and beer cafe. Your package includes a gift certificate for two general admission tickets to the show and a little extra thrown in for munchies. Return to the William Miller House and collapse into your comfy bed. A large flat-screen tv and premium cable will entertain you into the wee hours ? if you wish. Freshly brewed coffee will wake you in the morning for your hearty gourmet breakfast served at 9 AM on individual platters. You?ll have the rest of the day to shop Carytown, visit the Canal Walk, or check out a museum or two; but, return to the William Miller House for evening wine and snacks. Then, it?s off to the classic Byrd Theatre, built in 1928, as one of the Nation?s Grand Movie Palaces. Just as in the early days of the Byrd, on Saturday night?s show of their second-run movies, you will be treated to a 15-minute performance of the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ prior to the movie.
