Pat and Mike, owners of this unusual urban property offer guests a unique Bed and Breakfast experience with all of the charms of the historic Fan District neighborhood and city of Richmond. William Miller, proprietor of the Rogers and Miller Marbleworks, built our Greek-Revival style home in 1869. We have totally renovated the house, keeping the charm of the original marble mantles, period window glass, and other architectural details, while adding the "necessities" of today, including central air conditioning, new electrical and plumbing systems, and newly tiled baths. Although the rooms are graciously sized and contain a sitting area, the house also offers our guests a delightful parlor with fireplace on the main floor or the porch and patio area to enjoy.

The Touch of France Room - is well appointed with a queen size bed, en suite bathroom, desk area, and ample closet space. Relax in the refinished claw foot tub with chromed feet or rinse your cares away in a separate tiled shower. White tile floor accented with blue inserts, pedestal sink, bead board paneling, Venetian mirror, and classic lighting fixtures complete the elegant charm of the room.

The Regency Room - is a spacious room featuring a king-sized brass bed, sitting area, desk area, en suite bathroom, and a walk-in closet. In deference to modern needs, you may linger in the whirlpool tub or refresh quickly in the separate tiled shower. A pedestal sink and bead board paneling join with a ceramic tile floor and elegant wallpaper to complete the restful retreat.
