Whispering Waters Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful and elegant, early 1900's country farm house. Carefully renovated, keeping the integrity of the original beauty and features of the home, while making it comfortable for modern expectations. It has the original interior oak woodwork, along with magnificent oak fireplaces, featuring the original tile, copper surrounds and screens, converted from coal to gas logs. There are five fireplaces in the home, with two of them located in the bedrooms. The refinished floors are the original oak.
Breakfast is served in the Formal dining area or on Screened in Porch on Vintage China and Crystal. |

| For those preferring to dine outside, while listening to the whispering waters, there is a screened back porch with a dining table for a romantic private breakfast. There is a long front and side porch with rockers and a swing. | Located in the Wardell community in Southwest Virginia, Whispering Waters is perfect for a quiet get-away. It is near creeks and country wildlife, but far enough in the country to be away from stores and other houses. |

We rent only 3 guest rooms, so you can always find a private place, outside on the porch in a rocker or swing, to watch the wildlife. Deer, Wild Turkey, Egrets, Heron and a variety of song birds are frequent visitors. You may also meet Tarzan, the raccoon, climbing down the tree in the front yard in the evening on his nightly jaunt. For a closer look at the wildlife or stars, ask to use our telescope. Grills, picnic area and hot tub are also available for your use. The front entrance has a large pond with Koi and goldfish, a variety of blooming water plants, a bridge that goes across the ponds to the front porch and is surrounded by flower gardens. There are numerous old buildings on the nearly 5 acres, including a large oak and walnut barn. |
