Introduction
The Blue Room
The Victoria and Albert Inn, a Victorian home built in 1892, with five delightful guest rooms. AAA rated Four Diamond Inn for six consecutive years. All rooms with private baths, most with Jacuzzi-style tubs. Business travelers welcome.
The house was built as a private family home and had remained as such until 1987, when it was sold, thoughtfully renovated and placed into service as a bed and breakfast. Care was taken during the renovation to preserve many of the architectural features original to the house. There are polished hardwood floors, bay windows, transom windows over the doorways, high ceilings, curving banisters, and pocket doors.
The traditional Queen Anne and Chippendale furnishings are of finely crafted cherry or mahogany. Family treasures, both old and new, are found throughout. Needlepoint pillows and oriental rugs are some of the things that create a timeless appeal. We have taken every care to make our inn a combination of elegance, comfort and privacy. When you step into our inn, we want you to feel like you have found a haven from your busy schedules and the worries of the everyday world.
Awake to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. There is early-bird coffee and tea for those of you that are morning people. Start the day with a seasonal fruit plate, freshly prepared juice, and a wonderful breakfast prepared by Chef Hazel. Your breakfast will be served to you from 8:30 - for the early risers, until 9:30 - for those of you that want to hug the covers a little longer! If you need an earlier breakfast, we will accommodate your schedule. If you have special dietary needs please let us know upon your arrival.
