The Residence Bed and Breakfast is located on historic Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg. It was built in 1915 as the residence for the president of Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and college Presidents resided here until 1983. The Residence, Lynchburg's most conveniently located B&B, is just a short walk to fine restaurants, shops, churches, the post office and the bank.

Your day begins with a hearty breakfast served on fine china, crystal and silver under our magnificent Swarovski chandelier. The "Cook's Choice" menu may include our delectable homemade breads and muffins, unusual French toast, soufflés, "made from scratch" blueberry pancakes, or omelettes, and always fresh fruit, fruit juices, and piping hot coffee or tea. Special requests can be made when you make your reservation. We are always sensitive to our guests' particular needs and dietary preferences and can prepare breakfast accordingly
