Introduction
The Residence Bed and Breakfast is located on historic Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg. It was built in 1915 as the residence for the president of Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and college Presidents resided here until 1983. The Residence, Lynchburg's most conveniently located B&B, is just a short walk to fine restaurants, shops, churches, the post office and the bank.
You'll enjoy the comfortable and spacious rooms , with their original and beautifully preserved hardwood floors and the special treasures from our African safaris and years in Europe. We have high-speed wireless internet in all guest rooms!!

Your day begins with a hearty breakfast served on fine china, crystal and
silver under our magnificent Swarovski chandelier. The "Cook's Choice"
menu may include our delectable homemade breads and muffins, unusual
French toast, soufflés, "made from scratch" blueberry pancakes, or
omelettes, and always fresh fruit, fruit juices, and piping hot coffee or
tea.
Special requests can be made when you make your reservation.
We are always sensitive to our guests' particular needs and dietary
preferences and can prepare breakfast accordingly
