• Cancellation Policy:
  A deposit of one night's lodging is required for a reservation. Deposit may be made with VISA, MC, DISCOVER or a personal check. The deposit will be forfeited if the guest arrives after the date specified or departs before the final date of reservation. Refunds will be made only if cancelled 10 days in advance of arrival date, 14 days for holidays, weekends and special events, or if the room is reserved by another party. No shows will be charged. Note: Special Event Weekends at Virginia Tech and Radford Universities and October Weekends- a two night minimum stay is required.

Alexandria Room First floor. Carved wood canopy queen bed. Antique Victorian dresser and secretary. Sitting area with sofa. Decorated in burgundy with rose and green floral embroidery. Private bath with tub and shower. Very quiet and private. $135 - $160 Sir Christopher's Chamber First floor. Large king bedded room overlooking back garden has sitting area, dressing room, private bath with Jacuzzi tub and shower. This lovely room has rich hunter green, rose and cream decor. Waverly fabrics. $170 - $190 Major Pierce Room Second floor. Overlooks the back garden. Has a king bed with lace canopy and crocheted coverlet, wing chairs and oriental rug. Interesting artwork and antique accessories give this room a charming look. White tile his and hers bath adjoin, complete with shower and original claw foot bathtub in ladies' bath. Fireplace with gas logs. Decorated in rich green, cream and floral chintz. $175 - $200 Julia Pierce Room Second floor. Queen Victorian bed, exquisite hand-painted slate fireplace with gas logs, five turret windows, Victorian furnishings. This room is named after the wife of Major W.L. Pierce who built The Oaks. Seven Pierce offspring were conceived and born here. Decorated in soft green and peach floral, this room has a large bath with dressing area. Jacuzzi for two, shower and cherry vanity. $165 - $190 Lady Melodie's Turret Third floor. King canopy bed, high ceiling with skylight, fireplace with gas logs, romantic turret sitting area to view spectacular sunsets, large private bath with shower. Rich blue and white with wonderful Waverly fabrics. $150 - $170 Lulu's Lair Third floor. This unique room with canopied bed, sitting area, private bath with shower and fireplace is decorated in cheerful Waverly fabrics with morning glories and accented with sunny yellow. Cozy and quiet, great romantic hideaway. $130 - $150 Garden Cottage With gazebo, sitting room, loft sleeping space with queen bed and large window to count the stars. Bath with shower and sauna. 500 gallon hot tub just outside. Small kitchenette. Decorated in nature's colors, green, blue and yellow. Great romantic hideaway for the young at heart, or fully equipped for business overnight or extended stay. Per night for two - $165 - $185 Call for weekly rates.
