Every detail in the Shenandoah Suite testifies to the ten years of innkeeping experience that went into its design. Hayden and Dick built the suite to be a uniquely relaxing, luxury experience guaranteed to send you home with mind, body and spirit renewed.

Your cares slip away in our warm and comforting suite in mauve and ivory linen with touches of Battenburg lace. Read a book in our cozy sitting area warmed by a crackling fire or ease your tensions in the double whirlpool bath. Victorian, private and serene.

This favorite of many guests carries out the theme of woodland creatures. Softly decorated in natural colors and fabrics. Warm your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace or lie in bed and view the Blue Ridge Mountains shining in the morning sun.

A very traditional room with beautiful cherry beds, table and chair. Custom swag curtain protects large walk-in shower. Dogwood patterned curtains and stately wooden blinds portray the colonial era.

The color of warm apricot and cushioned white wicker chairs invite you to relax and sit awhile. How can you resist a restful deep sleep or a rejuvenating nap in our comfortable pillow-top king bed? Coffee in the early morning? It's waiting for you.

Queen Bed

Relax in a friendly corner of the Butterfly Room or settle for a nap in our most comfortable queen bed. Nostalgic old hats and Hayden's great-grandmother's pantaloons adorn the wall in keeping with the early 1900's farmhouse.

Enjoy the relaxing hues of the Garden Room's country garden theme. This first-floor guestroom is spacious and convenient to the main entrance to the Farmhouse. The antique brass bed and the heart pine hardwood floors accentuate the ambiance of the 1905 Farmhouse. Cozy up to a good book or take a nap in the pillowed day-bed, also excellent for sleeping an extra person.
