Relax in the living room with its southern exposure and rag-rolled walls. It is a bright and homey gathering space. The enclosed Florida Room offers an invitation to peace and quiet. With its abundant greenery blending into the surrounding landscape, it gives the feeling of the outside world. The formal dining room, with its library and collection of antiques provides a warm and welcoming setting. Or enjoy your breakfast in the enclosed breakfast porch with individual tables, where breakfast is served from 8 to 10 a.m. The eclectic collection of artifacts has been assembled from the owner's travels.
The Rose Room
Summer festivals, harbor parties, fall birding and harvest festivals, and a Victorian Christmas community progressive dinner are just some of the special events available in the Cape Charles area.
Other attractions are the town's marina and deepwater harbor, Bay Creek Marina, Eyre Hall Gardens, Kiptopeake State Park, National Wildlife Refuge, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge -Tunnel to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, and a Ferry Excursion to Tangier Island.
