  • Hiking the Appalachian Trail or other parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains,
  • Cruising the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway,
  • Fishing the well-stocked streams,
  • Wine tasting at one of the many fine wineries,
  • Horseback riding,
  • Skiing, playing tennis or golf at the world-famous Wintergreen resort,
  • or just relaxing with a good book,

the Oakmoor Country Inn will help to make your visit truly memorable.

Each of the three rustically elegant guest rooms has a queen-size bed with down comforter, a cozy gas fireplace and a private bath with a romantic jetted tub and separate shower. Each room is individually appointed with antiques, hair dryers, fluffy/designer robes and soft linens. The rooms also have individual controls for heating and air-conditioning. Prices range from $149-$169.

A delicious home-baked country breakfast will be served each morning. Typical breakfast items may include: homemade banana bread, quiche, cheese soufflé, apple-butter pancakes, blueberry muffins, fresh-ground coffee, regular or herb teas, juice and seasonal fruit.

Our Policies

  • The Oakmoor Country Inn does not meet the needs of children less than 12 years of age.
  • The Inn is a smoke-free environment.
  • No pets, please.
Deposits and Cancellations:
  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of one night's deposit or half of the entire stay, whichever is greater.
  • A refund of your deposit - less a $20 service fee - will be made if a cancellation is received at least fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival. If you cancel your reservation within thirteen (13) days or less from your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be applied to a future stay within one calendar year.
