Introduction
As new owners, Robert & Deborah Paskill, would like to welcome visitors to their circa 1810 plantation home. Montrose House Bed & Breakfast is typical of the Eastern Shore style known as big house, little house, colonnade, and kitchen. While antiques fill our rooms adding to the 18th century feel of your stay, today's amenities function discreetly making your visit as comfortable as it is relaxing and enjoyable.

Montrose House is located just two hundred yards off Route 13. Look for the white fence on the left after you turn onto Rte. 179 (Market Street) towards Onancock.
Relax on the wicker-filled porch, cozy library, or find a private garden spot. Looking for more action? Visit historic sites, antique shops, and the seaside villages of Chincoteague and Assateague. Fish or cruise to Tangier Island. Also available are kayak and bike tours run by Eastern Shore Escapes (price includes two nights at Montrose House).

Special events abound throughout the year at Montrose House ranging from fashion shows, to tours, teas, and monthly theme dinners. Particularly popular are our winter Colonial evenings when fireplaces cheer and candles glow.
Surrounded by farmland, yet five minutes to the harbor and shops, our two acres of boxwood gardens amass with perenials, bulbs, and flowering trees provide delight and privacy.
