July 21 & 22, 2008 Mediterranean ? This month we?ll ?eat global? as we cross the Atlantic and try the foods, flavors and styles of the sunny Mediterranean.
August 18 & 19, 2008 Southern Comfort ? It?s back home with those comfort foods and flavors that are so much a part of our culture, updated for today?s eating trends.
September 15 & 16, 2008 Italian ? Back by popular demand for a third year! Everyone loves Italian ? so bring on the pasta and all those fabulous sauces!
October 20 & 21, 2008 Fall Traditions ? The flavors of fall will abound from the kitchen. The bountiful harvest offers opportunities for colorful and flavorful creations.
November 17 & 18, 2008 The Best of Baking ? Our Chefs have some incredible foods planned. We?ll bake breads and savories, as well as sweets and pastries.

The Inn at Meander Plantation invites you to try the best of Virginia Wine Country with special tours, tastings and 5-course Wine Tasting Dinner in the Inn's restaurant.

Virginia vintners are producing award winning wines that compete on both the national and international levels. The Inn at Meander Plantation?s Virginia wine list is arguably the most comprehensive in the world. The Inn at Meandcer Plantaiton will share their favorite wines and favorite wineries during this fantastic 3 night package. They?ll give you maps, brochures and insider information to the best wines in the state.
This all-inclusive package, available Sunday through Thursday, includes:

Just for the Two of You Elopement Package
The Inn at Meander Plantation elopement package is designed to make your elopement a very special wedding day just for the two of you. When you arrive at the Inn you?ll choose from the many possible sites for your ceremony and check into your elegant accommodation. We?ll take care of everything else.
We?ll make arrangements for a wedding officiate licensed in Virginia to perform your ceremony including a bouquet for the bride (roses and/or fresh flowers with ribbon wrapped stems) and a boutonniere for the groom.
Then your reception will include a beautiful linen covered table with a white wedding cake for two, flowers, a silver champagne bucket with a bottle of champagne and two flutes from which to toast your lovely day.
Then after you?ve rested, our fantastic 5-course candlelight dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
You?ll spend the night in your lovely guestroom and then awake to a full breakfast the next morning in the dining room.
To finish off the memories, we?ll take photographs of your ceremony, the kiss, the toasts, the cake cutting, the two of you at dinner and other candid moments. We?ll put these on CD for you to take with you.
