Lovingston, Virginia is located about 30 miles southwest of Charlottesville and 100 miles west of Richmond at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the center of the state. The area has several fine B&B establishments that are suitable for a variety of getaways and gatherings. The Blues Festival at Mountain Cove is an annual event in fall showcasing local and national blues artists. Lovingston is known for the extreme beauty of its autumns, with the changing colors of its trees in late September and October.
