Llewellyn Lodge offers the best advice on outdoor activities in the area. John Roberts, your host, has hiked every trail around and his first hand knowledge is sure to guide you to a fine day in the woods or along some of Virginia's most beautiful streams. Lots of maps are provided along with details. You start your day with one of Ellen Roberts special breakfasts, which are legendary. Canoeing, golf, fishing, horseback riding,and other activities are popular. We have the only golf package closeby, the course is 2 minutes away. John's Fly-fishing Trips are always popular. Instruction and equipment are available. Please contact us for prices on the various trips.

Guided Fly-fishing Trips
Virginia offers some fine trout fishing streams and John, your guide who has 49 years fishing experience in the local waters, is sure to help you enjoy a nice day on one of them.E-mail him today for details. Many like to fish 2 or 3 days, sampling streams such as the Jackson River, Back Creek, Bullpasture, Buffalo Creek, native Brook Trout streams and many more. These trips have been featured on the Discovery Chanel 2006, Southern Living, the Angling report and several more angling publications. Step back into time as you stroll Historic Lexington, the town that ''Stonewall'' Jackson and Robert E. Lee both loved. This visit highlights the two great general?s roles in the Civil War and also gives special insight into their lives as private citizens. Package for 2 includes 2 nights lodging, afternoon refreshments, full Blue Ribbon breakfast, tour of the Stonewall Jackson House, Lexington Heritage Walking Tours, self directed tours of Lee Chapel & the VMI Museum section at the George C.
