Before moving to Lexington, Ellen received her hospitality experience in the airline, travel, hotel and restaurant business. She is a gourmet cook and guarantees that you will not leave the breakfast table hungry; in fact, many say they don't need lunch after one of her breakfasts. Breakfast is served family style and served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Breakfast is taken very seriously here at the Lodge and we truly aim to please all our guests special requirements.

There is a full menu from which you might choose one of her Fabulous Overstuffed Omelets, Farm Fresh Eggs, Belgian Waffles served with Virginia Maple Syrup and a selection of meats and homemade muffins. A selection of juices, Colombian Coffee, a large selection of regular and herbal teas, and our famous "killer hot chocolate". There are Eggbeater Omelets and hot and cold cereals for those requesting a special diet.
