Introduction
The J. Patrick House Bed and Breakfast is a Farm House built in 1840 and has a large wrap around front porch. Ideally located in the heart of historic Loudoun County in the Village of Philomont, Virginia, the J. Patrick House is just 8 short miles north of Middleburg and Route 50 and 6 miles south of Route 7 and Purcellville. Outdoors there are several cozy areas to sit and visit with your party or to have a few private moments to wander about the gardens and grounds.
We are conveniently located on Snickersville Turnpike, an historic byway, running through the beautiful countryside. Stroll, hike, bike, drive by motorcar, or motorbike and enjoy the beauty of Virginia's scenic horse farms, historic towns and DC's Wine Country. There are Revolution era stone walls all along "the Pike". Be a tourist, a wine taster, a biker or a hiker, we are an ideal base for exploration of Northern Virginia or just come and relax and sit on the front porch with a cool drink.
Step inside the entry hall and stairway with original wood floors. Feast your eyes on a dollhouse collection built and decorated by Pat's parents in their retirement. There are many things for the eye to see, vintage toy collection, antique furniture, quilts, books and many other rarities.
