Nathaniel Smith Room Nathaniel Smith Room ($150 - $195)
The inn’s most romantic room now features a King size bed with layers of bedding for your comfort! An all seasons fireplace, plasma screen television with DVD player and CD/Clock radio all provide a most romantic stay. This room provides views all around with windows on three exterior walls. Wake to the morning sunshine and relax to the evening view of sunsets over the channel in this lovely room. The soft velvet touch of the quilt beckons you to come rest on this comfortable bed. This is a favorite for romantic get-a-ways, honeymoons or couples looking to reconnect.

Joseph Kenny Room ($140 - $195)
Leave your window cracked to fall asleep to the trickling of the courtyard fountain from this magnificent room. Named for one of the original owners this room features beautiful bird prints. The Joseph Kenny provides privacy for those seeking peace and quiet. No wonder this is one of our most popular rooms! With views overlooking the roses and brick courtyard, the morning rays of dawn dancing through the window, the faint chirp of the morning songbirds, this room located in the back of the inn will allow you to get away from the world and rest peacefully. The relaxing King size bed with a luxurious hypoallergenic feather topper is sure to provide a restful night's sleep. The Joseph Kenny room features a private in suite bathroom with shower. Sandy Dune Room Sandy Dune Room ($125 - $170)
Hide away on the third floor! You are sure to find this the perfect place to cuddle and enjoy the quiet evening together. The third floor provides angled ceilings and dormer windows to add to the romantic hide-a-way. The hand painted dune murals add to the ambiance. This room has a Queen bed with a luxurious hypoallergenic feather topper. The lighthouse quilt and snow fence, used as the headboard, add a touch of whimsy to this fun and sunny room. Misty Mare Room ($125 - $170)

Sandpiper Room ($95 - $120)
Enjoy the sun setting over Chincoteague Channel from your wrought iron bed in the Sandpiper Room. This intimate room includes a new Full size bed with luxurious hypoallergenic feather topper, antique armoire and dresser. The period prints add to the charm of this room. The Tudor has a newly redecorated shared bath. You will find plush robes provided for your stay in the Tudor Room. Reserved with the Hummingbird this charming room is an economical option for those traveling together in need of two beds.
Hummingbird Room ($95 - $120)
Awaken each morning to the dancing rays of the rising sun in this cheerful room. The Hummingbird features a new Full size bed, antique Governor Winthrop desk and Wedgwood pieces. Antique prints add to the beauty of this room. The Hummingbird has a newly redecorated shared bath. You will find plush robes provided for your stay in this room. Reserved with the Sandpiper Room this charming room is an economical option for those traveling together in need of two beds.

Guest Information

  • Reservations are encouraged.
  • A two-night minimum may be required on weekends. Other minimum stay requirements may be in effect for holidays and regional events.
  • Reservations for more than one night are guaranteed with a fifty percent (50%) deposit by check or credit card. For one night accommodations, payment must be made in full. Checks must be received within one week of making your reservations and 14 days prior to arrival. VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express accepted.
  • Gift certificates serve as deposits.
  • No refunds due to weather.
  • No refunds for early departure.
  • All cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Single room cancellations must be made by 12:00 noon 14 days prior to the arrival date for a refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date will forfeit the deposit.
  • Multiple room (2 or more rooms) cancellations must be by 12:00 noon fourteen days prior to the arrival date for a refund. Cancellations made within fourteen days of the arrival date will forfeit the deposit.
  • Entire facility bookings must be guaranteed by payment in full 30 days prior to the arrival date.
  • Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. each evening. If you will arrive later than 7:00 p.m., please notify us so that we can prepare for a late arrival.
  • Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
  • All room rates reflect single or double occupancy, and do not include a 9% local and state tax.
  • Some rooms may accommodate an additional person at $25 per night.
  • For the security and privacy of all, only registered guests may be in the facility without our prior permission and presence. Only registered guests are permitted on second or third floors.
  • All room rates include a full decadent Southern breakfast for each registered guest. You may enjoy breakfast each morning at 8:30 a.m. in the dining room, enclosed porch or courtyard (weather permitting). Please let us know, prior to arrival, of any dietary needs.
  • Children who are at least 10 years old and accompanied by a responsible adult are welcome.
  • Younger children are welcome when the entire inn is reserved for one group.
  • Island Manor House is a smoke free Bed and Breakfast Inn. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
  • We love pets. However, for the comfort of all our guests and local restrictions we are unable to accommodate pets.
  • Off street parking is provided behind the inn for all of our guests. Please follow our driveway under the portico and pull your car up so that it is facing the back of the two stand alone buildings.
