Introduction
Welcome to Chincoteague's most historic and romantic Bed and Breakfast! This grand manor home is an elegant yet relaxing respite from your days of hiking, bicycling, bird watching, fishing or any numerous activities available to you in the area. It is only a short 2 mile drive to Assateague Island, Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and miles of Atlantic sand beaches, home of the wild Chincoteague Ponies.
You will certainly find the perfect room for your stay with us from our 8 guest rooms, all individually decorated with new comfortable furnishing and several antique pieces. You can choose from King, Queen or Full size beds, and most rooms have private bathrooms. Several rooms also have views out over Chincoteague Channel to watch the fishing vessels and charter boats glide through the water.
Walk to many of the downtown shops, antique stores, artist galleries and restaurants. Enjoy the new downtown park, the perfect spot to watch the sunset and boats come and go. Stroll along the boardwalk leading to Chincoteague's very own draw bridge.
The innkeepers are happy to make dinner reservations, suggest activities and help plan those extra touches to make your stay so enjoyable. Fresh flowers and other goodies can be arranged for delivery prior to your arrival. Reservations for sight-seeing tours by land or sea may also be made for you, just let us know when making your reservation.
Wake each morning to delicious smells wavering from the kitchen as your full southern style breakfast is prepared. Fresh breads, muffins, fruit, a hot entrée, an assortment of juices, hot teas and of course the best coffee on the shore await you to begin the day! Many dietary needs can be accommodated if mentioned when you make your reservation with us.
Several common areas are available for guests to enjoy. The Garden Room provides charming views of the rose-lined brick courtyard and fountain, as well as Main Street toward Chincoteague Channel. This is also the perfect place to enjoy the cooler months reading, playing chess or board games in front of the fire. The parlor, decorated to the time of the home, provides period antiques and ample sitting room to enjoy a cup of tea and delightful conversations. The living room contains comfortable furniture, a television and DVD player, and to add to the nautical flair is the innkeepers' extensive collection of lighthouse figurines and memorabilia.
