The Iris Inn Bed and Breakfast is nestled in a wooded tract on the western slope of the Blue Ridge, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. The inn combines traditional Virginia architecture with the comfort and casual elegance of a contemporary home. The Inn is ideal for a romantic weekend get-away, a refreshing change for the business traveler, or a tranquil setting for the tourist to spend a night or a week. It's convenient location provides a home base for exploring many of the area attractions including the Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, The University of Virginia, Monticello and many fine local wineries.

Hawks Nest Suite

Purpose built in 1991 as a bed and breakfast the Iris Inn has all the modern conveniences of a new facility combined with traditional Virginia charm. All the rooms have private baths. WiFi is available. Our Hawks Nest Suite features a private deck with hot tub. Our Wildflower room has a 2 person whirlpool tub. The Garden Path and Deep Woods suites have double whirlpool tubs and separate showers along with fireplaces. Of the nine rooms seven are king beds and two are queen. Our Great Room provides a comfortable gathering place by the stunning 28 foot stone fireplace where a full, scrumptious breakfast is served daily. Featured throughout the Inn are hand painted wildlife murals. Also featured in the Great Room is the Bottomless Cookie Jar. Located on over 11 private wooded acres the Iris Inn offers its guests ample space to relax. The main building has a two story deck and a three story observation tower along with an outdoor spa.
