Dinner for two at Silver Thatch Restaurant in Charlottesville. The Silver Thatch offers a special dining experience in its intimate candlelit dining rooms. Contemporary cuisine is offered, featuring grilled meat and fish with healthy and eclectic sauces. Whenever possible, they work with local farmers to ensure that the finest, freshest produce will reach their dining guests. All breads, muffins, cookies, and fabulous desserts are made in house. Dinner includes your choice of: Appetizer, Entree, Dessert and non-alcoholic beverages (except specialties such as cappuccino)

Hilde is currently the food columnist for the Charlottesville Daily Progress.

Dinner for two at l'etoile Restaurant in Charlottesville's Starr Hill. The l'etoile features dinners made from local and seasonal produce, mixing regional traditions with innovative food preparation with a southern influence.
