Charles & Nancy Flippo welcome you to the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Join us in our mountain top home, here in Floyd County, where the water and air are clean and southern hospitality abounds.

The Eagle's Nest sits high on a wooded hilltop amongst five acres of natural beauty and mountain views. Our large country farmhouse offers 5 bedrooms, 2 sitting areas and 2 large porches on which you can relax, swing and rock. You will begin your morning with juice, coffee or tea and a variety of home-baked breads. Then choose bacon, sausage or country cured ham, eggs cooked as you like, biscuits or toast and cooked apples. Sausage gravy, pancakes and granola will also be available.

All of our rooms are individually decorated and have their own personality. They each have a queen or king bed and a private bath. Whatever your interest, you will enjoy one of our themed rooms. Rates: $105/night.

We are located 3 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 174, between Château Morrisette and Mabry Mill.

Floyd County is certainly one of the most picturesque parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visiting Mabry Mill, at milepost 176, is a must. Château Morrisette Winery and Restaurant, at milepost 171, has wine tasting and tours. Floyd County is home for all types of artists. They regularly display their work at The Jacksonville Center, located just south of the town. There are hiking trails, picnic areas, breathtaking nearby Rocky Knob, Buffalo Mountain and Rock Castle Gorge. Golf courses are nearby and we are able to secure advanced tee times.
