Churchville is located northwest of Stauntonand, claims several fine Churchville inn establishments. Churchville is a pretty quiet town, but they have pumpkin harvest festivals at Chester's Farm during the fall. Churchville also has the Cestari Wool Festival at Chester's farm in April and local politicians often frequent this event. Churchville's only long-standing tourist attraction is the James Hanger Memorial. Hanger was the first amputee of the Civil War, and he built himself wooden legs. Churchville is just an hour and a half from Staunton, which boasts a large, multi-genre music festival in the beginning of March. Churchville B&B fans may want to check out the fine array of ed and breakfasts that are available in town. Accommodations at any Churchville bed and breakfast or inn are offered year-round. Meat fans will enjoy T-Bone Tooters, a local favorite.
