Church View is located just 20 minutes northwest of Urbanna, which is on the northern east coast of Virginia. The famous and very popular Oyster Festival is held here every November. Whether or not you enjoy oysters, there is plenty to enjoy in the family fair atmosphere. If you're a racing fan, don't miss out on the annual Fall Classic in September at the Virginia Motor Speedway. There is quite a bit of excitement to be had there. If you and a loved one are trying to slip away for a weekend, enjoy the privacy and calm of a nearby Church View bed and breakfast, or Church View inn. Nothing will give you a better sample of the community then a Church View B&B experience. Not too far away is the Tappahannock Historic walking tour. Attractions include about 20 buildings from the 1700s. If you're looking for a hearty, traditional American meal, like burger and fries, stop by Big John's. The food is great and the atmosphere is authentic. While in the area, do check out Something Different. The food is all southern style and homemade, and the atmosphere and people are great.
