Introduction

The Chocolate Moose Bed and Breakfast was established in 1998 in the small town of Stuart, Virginia. We offer a place for travelers to rest and enjoy the small town of Stuart, while getting a massage, enjoying our gardens, and exploring this area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have three rooms upstairs. Our rates are from $75 to $135 per night for one or two people. Surprise someone you love with our Overnight Rejuvenation Package that includes massage, dinner, our luxury accommodation (6 jet steam shower) and breakfast.

We offer a lovely breakfast consisting of freshly brewed Chocolate Moose house blend coffee, cereal, toast, juice, jelly, and fresh fruit... with garden and bird viewing as you dine. Help yourself or we will be happy to serve you to an utterly enjoyable meal!

The Dogwood Room
The Dogwood Room - Our Luxury Room 		The Chocolate Moose Bed & Breakfast, owned and operated by Judith Toscano and Darryl Bobletz, is home to a Naturopath (Doctor of Natural Remedies) and a Certified Massage Therapist. Located at 117 East Blue Ridge Street, we are in uptown Stuart VA. You can walk to the shops and have a bite at a local restaurant. Just 16 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can enjoy the views, visit the local attractions, get a massage and create a plan to get on the road toward better health.

Not too long ago we built a wellness center we call The Wellness Cottage (nobody sleeps there) at which we provide over 15 wellness services within walking distance of The Chocolate Moose B&B. So you can stay a while and enjoy not having to drive after a massage.

Rates & Policies
  • $75 nightly rate for a room with a shared bathroom in the Wildflower or Moose Room, a fold out bed maybe added for $15 in these rooms only.
  • $95 nightly rate for a room with private bathroom in the Wildflower or Moose Room with only one room rented.
  • $135 nightly rate for the Dogwood Room, we call this our luxury accommodation. This room has a private bathroom with two person relaxing steam and multi jet shower, TV, DVD, and Mini Fridge in room, Queen size Select Comfort bed.
  • Well behaved children are welcome
  • Visa, MasterCard and personal checks accepted
  • Advance reservation recommended, required for Overnight Rejuvenation Package
  • Credit card number holds a reservation or half deposit required by personal check when reserving a room.
  • Balance due upon check in
  • Cancellation Policy; 7 days or more, $40 reservation fee, 6 days or less you are responsible for paying the full amount.
  • Check-in time 3 - 7 p.m. unless otherwise arranged in advance
  • Check-out time 11 a.m.
  • No smoking inside, designated areas outside
  • Dinners available with prior reservation $35 per person for 2 or more people
  • No pets please, we have a small dog who thinks he is big! Gibbous is his name.
