 Natural Bridge, Virginia (VA) Bed and Breakfast: Sited on the top of the hill on six fabulous acres, the Blacksmith Inn has magnificent all around views both from the upper and lower decks. The house is a new build boasting five bedrooms, and we have tried to incorporate the British bed and breakfast ambience. Your hosts, Barrie and Beryl, are both from Yorkshire.

Attractions & Evening Entertainment

Attractions in the Area
  • Horse and trail riding at Lost Creek Farm (no age limit or experience). Summer horse camp for serious child and adult riders.
  • Fantastic Hiking trails of Glenwood in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
  • Drive through Safari Park (a must for all ages) just two minutes from the Blacksmith Inn.
  • Kayaking, canoeing, Tubing to Buchanan on the James River, just 15 mins drive from the Inn.
  • Natural Bridge with it's many attractions and Historical Landmarks, The Indian Village, Caverns and much more.
  • Natural Bridge Speedway (Saturday nights)
  • Golfing at the Vista Links, a great course, green fees are more than reasonable for such a wonderful course.
  • Lexington only 6 miles North with its many historical attractions and dining establishments for all tastes.
  • Fancy Hill Restaurant and the Pink Cadillac Diner are only 3 minute drive from Blacksmith Inn.

Evening Entertainment
  • Eastern Curry Dinners at the Blacksmith Inn (limited seating reservations must be made. Tables of 4-6-8 are required. Dining 5 until 8 pm. Thursdays and Saturdays only.
  • A night at the Drive-in Movie theatre.
  • Scrumptious Buffet dinner at the Natural Bridge Hotel (Friday and Saturday).
  • Visit the Lime Kiln Theater in Lexington, productions all Summer and Fall.
  • You may like to relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the Blue Ridge mountains from the Blacksmith Inn upper deck, with that special bottle of wine.
