Introduction
Back INN Time is located in the heart of the Northern Neck, situated between Kilmarnock and Irvington, which provides our guests with a wide variety of activities with some of the best museums and historic sites in the US such as Historic Christ Church (ca. 1732), Mary Ball Washington Museum, and St. Mary White Chapel (ca. 1669). Enjoy bird watching, nature trails, the best golfing in Virginia, excursions to Tangier and Smith Islands and fishing or daytrips on The Chesapeake Bay. Take a short walk or catch The Trolley to Kilmarnock to visit the museum, stop at the many antique shops, restaurants and gift stores.
Back INN Time, an early 1908 Southern Manor, is set back from Irvington Road and is surrounded by an assortment of old and new trees and plants featuring old English Boxwood, azalea, a wisteria pergola, herb and flowering gardens and over forty rose bushes covering two acres in the Heart of The Northern Neck of Virginia. The manor has warm (original) wood flooring, nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows which allow abundant natural light throughout the home.
Upon arrival, join us for afternoon tea and crumpets which are served at 4 PM, on the glass in the veranda or in the parlor in front of a warm fireplace. We offer yesterday's atmosphere with all the modern conveniences of today.
Morning brings the aroma of fresh ground coffee and a gourmet breakfast which may include quiche, frittata, warm muffins, ham, waffles or our specialty "Back INN Time Sticky Buns" made with real maple syrup.
