The Ascot Country Inn staff can provide a host of other special occasion amenities, for an additional charge, upon request. Reservation Information & Policies
Weekend reservations during high season and on holidays may require a two night minimum stay. Please inquire when making reservations.
Reservation and information calls are welcomed from 9AM to 8 PM EST at 540-554-2690. Calls received outside of these hours will be returned the next business day.
A one night's deposit is necessary to confirm your reservation, and can be made by check or credit card. If you choose to send a deposit by check, we will need your permission to guarantee your reservation with your credit card until such a time as your check arrives in house. By giving us a credit card number for either deposit or hold, you authorize the Inn to charge any and all cancellation penalties to this card as per our cancellation policy outlined below.
Cancellations received 14 days or more prior to arrival will be accepted without penalty. Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival will forfeit a one night's stay plus 9.5% taxes, regardless of our ability to re-rent the room. In exceptional circumstances, the Inn will permit a "rain check" and permit you to credit your one night penalty towards a future stay. Please be aware that this is for exceptional circumstances only and entirely at the discretion of the Inn.
The Inn accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as payment for your room, incidental expenses, and meals.
Although we love children, The Ascot Country Inn is not appropriate for children under 12. Our rooms are not decorated with child-friendly furnishings and we do not have in house strollers, cribs, play pens, bassinets or high chairs. We would, however, be more than happy to assist in finding alternate accommodations for those families traveling with small children.
Our resident Inn-dog, the people-friendly cocker spaniel Jackson, prefers not to compete with other pets for attention, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional animals. For those of you with pet related allergies please be assured that Jackson is not permitted in any of the Inn's guest rooms or public areas.
The Ascot Country Inn is a strictly smoke-free environment. No smoking is permitted in the public areas, in the guest rooms, or on the guest room balconies. Considerate smokers are permitted in designated outdoor areas only, and will be asked to dispose of tobacco waste in the appropriate containers.
To ensure that each room is perfectly prepared for your arrival, we do not allow check-in prior to 3:30 PM, and, generally, we ask that you check in not later than 7 PM. We regret that we cannot accept early check-ins and we ask that you not arrive at the Inn prior to 3:30 PM with the expectation that you will be accommodated. We can usually, however, accommodate a slightly later check in with advance arrangement; however, we generally do not permit check in later that 10 PM except in highly unusual circumstances.
Check out time is 11 AM the next morning. We regret that late check outs cannot be accommodated as we need access to the rooms to prepare them for incoming guest arrivals.
We would ask that you consider your fellow guests should you elect to stay up late and enjoy the porches and gazebos. Sound travels differently in the country, and often even conversational tones can be heard at quite a distance. We would ask that patrons make the minimum noise when returning to their rooms late at night.
