Enjoy a two-night stay at the Apple Blossom Inn with full breakfast served daily. Included in your package are 2 tickets to the New Market Walking Tours Civil War Tour and 2, two-day passes to the New Market Battlefield and State Historical Park. Your hostess, a local historian, and is also a tour guide for the New Market Walking Tours. Hear the stories of the brave and feisty women of Congress Street and what daily life was like in New Market at the time of the Battle of New Market, May 15, 1864. The Apple Blossom Inn is also located within a 40 minute drive of Cedar Creek and Cross Keys Battlefields, or 1 1/2 hours from Harper's Ferry or Manassas
In the winter, snuggle under quilts and sip hot cider. In the spring and summer,linger in the gazebo and listen to the chorus of crickets in the evening or the chirp of the birds in the morning. In the fall, relax and swing on the front porch, view the maples and mountains.

New Market Walking Tour
Join us for a leisurely stroll along the timeworn streets of New Market's Historic District, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Your guide will share stories of New Market's most colorful citizens from colonial times to the present. If it happened in American History, there is a reflection of it in New Market. Discover New Market's relationship to Bunker Hill, The Great Wagon Road, German Immigration, the Printing Press, the Donner Party, the PT Barnum circus, and the World War II prisoner of war camp. Comprehensive and entertaining, this overview tour captures the historical significance of the town of New Market in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Reservations Recommended While reservations are not absolutely required, they are highly recommended. Reservations allow New Market Walking Tours to have a sufficient number of guides for your party. Calling prior to arrival also informs you if any variations in the schedule have occurred, or if special events are planned. To reserve, call 1-540-740-3747 or 1-540-325-9529 between the hours of 9am and 4pm. If you are visiting with a Time Travelers Passport, please inform us at the time of you make the reservation. Arrive 10 minutes prior to tour time to purchase tickets.

A quaint and charming, historic house built in 1806, you have the entire Apple Blossom Inn all to yourself. Gourmet breakfasts, on beautiful depression glass and English china, are served daily. We have plenty of tables on which you may set-up your project and leave it until you are finished. Restaurants are within walking distance for the inn. Your summer vacation, your relatives' wedding, "back-to-school" photos,holidays celebrations- you can scrap them all during your winter weekend getaway.
