Anne Hathaway's Cottage Bed and Breakfast - Staunton, Virginia Anne Hathaway's Cottage in Staunton, Virginia is located 9 blocks west of the center of town on our main downtown street. Just 15-20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is an authentic thatched cottage built on old English principles. Enjoy a unique old-world atmosphere with all modern conveniences - queen beds in all rooms, private baths, TV, Cable and phones with internet access. Rooms are $129-149 with a last minute (same-day) special of $125 after 4 pm.

Served in our gathering room from 8:30 to 10 am, Breakfast always includes freshly made fruit or nut breads, home-made bread or perhaps English scones, as well as quiche and bacon. Early-riser coffee or tea is available too.

    William's Room

    William's Room is on the first floor. It faces south and has a private patio. A queen bed, phone and cable TV plus a small fireplace make for a comfy room. The private bath has a tub and shower. Sunday-Thursday: $139, Friday and Saturday: $149

    Juliet's Room

    Juliet's Room is on the second floor. It has a lovely canopy queen bed, TV, phone and cable. The bathroom has a shower and heated towel rack. Sunday-Thursday: $129; Friday and Saturday: $139

    Romeo's Room

    Romeo's Room is also on the second floor. With its large four poster, it faces the gardens. Supplied with TV, cable, phone and a private bath with shower, it offers a cozy night's stay. Sunday-Thursday: $129, Friday and Saturday: $139

    Cancellation Policy:
    • We have a very friendly policy! If you need to cancel, please let us know by 6 pm, 7 days ahead, for a full refund.
    • If it is less time than that, we will gladly give you a refund if we rebook your room.
    • If a refund is not possible, upon request, we will send you a gift certificate good Sunday-Thursday to use within 6 months.
    • Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly but we try to be fair.
    • Regardless of the reason, we will charge a $25 processing fee for any and all cancellations.
    • On holiday weekends we have a 14-day cancellation notice.
    • Special events, for which all rooms are reserved, also require 14-day cancellation notice.
    • If you want to email us to cancel please ask for a return email to be sure we received it!
