The Speckled Hen Inn

The Rising Sun Room - This room carefully balances the simplicity and serenity of Eastern culture with the creature comforts of Western civilization. The room features a queen size bed, window seat with a view of the stable and pasture, a large desk, and a private bath located just across the hallway with an antique claw foot tub in a curtained alcove and a separate walk-in shower.

The Token Creek Room - Experience our interpretation of an English garden. From the floral carpet to the walnut Victorian mirror over the whirlpool tub in the attached bath, this room will transport you to life at an English manor house. A wonderfully comfortable king size bed, a dual-head shower that you just must experience, country antiques, and a window-seat with a view of our sheep are only the beginnings of the many delights in this room.

The Starkweather Suite - Originally the master suite, this room relaxes you the minute you step across the threshold. The soft ivory and green color palate make this second floor retreat an extension of the sky and oak trees framed by the four large windows. French doors open onto the balcony overlooking the back garden and pasture. The room has a unique king size canopy bed, wicker chaise, and a large attached bath with a whirlpool tub and separate dual-head shower.

The Heywood Hardy Suite - This spacious, romantic retreat will delight almost everyone. The bedroom is furnished with a massive cherry bed, gas log fireplace, and a two-person whirlpool tub with all the trimmings. Lie in bed and watch the stars twinkling through the branches of the woodlands just beyond the French doors. An attached private bath with pedestal sink and dual-head shower and attached private sitting room furnished with a sofa-bed, wingchairs and an antique pump organ make this a retreat that you might not want to leave.

• Deposit of one-night's lodging or 50% of a longer stay is required at time of reservation.
• 48 hour cancellation notice required for refund of deposit. This will be waived if we are able to re-book your room. No-shows billed for entire reserved visit.
• Check-in: After 4 pm, Check-out: Prior to noon.
• Well-mannered children over 12 welcome. Younger children permitted only when entire Inn is booked by their family group.
• Smoking not permitted inside the Inn.
• Our very friendly GoldenDoodle, Happy resides with us at the Inn. We must ask that you please leave your pets at home.
