StudioA Collection of Eight Distinct Guest Rooms

All guest rooms in the 1853 national landmark Plough house have queen-size beds (see Studio for king-size bed), private baths, reading chairs and some with desks. A sitting room with a fireplace, movie and book library and service kitchen to store or heat up food is also in this building. For your convenience all guest rooms have a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

The Annex: A sustainably designed building, the Annex features a soaring great room with massive recycled Douglas fir timbers, an open staircase, and a high-efficiency, wood-burning hearth. The three spectacular Annex guest rooms offer natural furnishings and textures, queen-size beds with organic mattresses, cable TV, VCRs, stereo systems, natural bath robes, and spacious double-person whirlpool baths. The rooms are named after prominent leaders from Madison's past who have worked to preserve and protect our natural environment.

    Studio

The Studio is a bright and expansive environment with a prairie influence. A cathedral ceiling, skylights and a natural linens on a king-size bed comprise the former art studio of UW Professor Stebbins. Separating the suite's two rooms is an original exposed brick wall. Guests can retreat to the bath's skylit whirlpool tub and then unwind in front of the stove fireplace. This room also serves as our family suite. Weekdays (SUN-THURS) $175; Weekends/Holiday/Event $230
