Our romantic Wisconsin Inn is located just two minutes west of Lake Geneva. This small country Inn has all the privacy and luxury of the finest Lake Geneva hotel, with the personal attention of a Bed and Breakfast. The large, private decks of each suite are a magical place to sip a glass of wine, look at the stars and enjoy your romantic getaway. Some Lake Geneva hotels offer whirlpools or fireplaces, but most don't offer double whirlpools in the sitting room with a view of the fireplace!

And most hotels do not allow candles or bubblebath. Lazy Cloud Inn doesn't just allow them -- we provide them! How can you have a romantic getaway at a luxury hotel without candlelight and mounds of bubbles in your whirlpool? Located just a couple minutes west of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, you'll enjoy the peaceful location.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the company of your special someone. So enjoy a sunset boat cruise on Lake Geneva or stroll around the lake or drift away in a hot air balloon ride. Then come back to your romantic hotel suite and indulge in your complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. There are also raspberry meltaway chocolates at your bedside for a midnight treat!

Each of the guest suites at our Lake Geneva Inn have large private patios or decks, with several of the decks almost as large as the suites. Each outdoor area has a dining area so you can enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars and since we are a couple miles outside of Lake Geneva, you'll be able to see lots of stars. They also have a porch swing for two. With views of the woods or water fountain in the gardens, this is a great place to enjoy the breakfast that is awaiting you. Pastries, muffins, orange juice and gourmet coffee have all been left in your suite so that you can enjoy it whenever you like.

On the grounds we have a large goldfish pond with lots of koi, water lilies and a beautiful waterfall. A nearby screened gazebo and a patio area are a great place to relax, enjoy the fish and watch the sun set. Since we have only nine suites at our small inn, each one is individually decorated. Some are done in a garden theme, some rustic, but each one is completely different. All of our suites at Lazy Cloud Country Inn include great romantic amenities.

The Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast is located in a secluded area on the west end of Geneva Lake in the small, lakeside village of Fontana and is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Each suite is decorated in a relaxing country style with a private bathroom and a private outside entrance.

Outside, three acres of gardens beckon you to take a stroll or enjoy a nap in the double hammocks. Lazy Cloud Bed and Breakfast is located on the west end of Geneva Lake in the lakeside village of Fontana WI.

Make your stay at even more romantic and order our delicious Enchanted Evening Picnic Basket Dinner. We'll deliver it right to your door so you can enjoy it by candlelight in front of your fireplace!

All of the accommodations at the bed and breakfast are decorated in an individual theme with a whirlpool for two, fireplace, queen bed and a daybed or love seat for lounging and a small dining area for two. They also include great romantic amenities...

Each morning we serve an expanded continental breakfast that you can enjoy in the dining room or outside on the patio in the summertime. You can also make up a breakfast tray and take it back to your room if you'd like to be by yourselves. If we have less than five rooms reserved, we deliver breakfast to your room so you can have breakfast in bed!

There are three acres of picturesque grounds for you to enjoy. An English cottage garden, complete with a gazebo, a garden chess set, a garden checkers set, and several double hammocks spread throughout the property all combine to make it a romantic place for you to relax and unwind!

Lazy Cloud... you've found your perfect romantic Bed and Breakfast in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin!

The Lazy Cloud Lodge building has a great deal of a history behind it. It was built in the early 1920's as polo lodge for the Uihlein Family. They owned the Chicago Branch of Schlitz Brewery Company. The Uihlein's had about 88 acres in the Lake Geneva area at the time. Some of the rooms were stables for the horses, some of them stored grain. In fact, the Hayloft Suite was actually a hayloft in itself.

The lodge is a "Cape Cod" style building. In fact, the first time you see it from the road it will appear small from the front, but the Uihlein's built it to face the polo fields and not the road itself.

The Paul Newman Suite is named that because in 1950, the actor Paul Newman had stayed here at one time! Early in Newman's acting career, he played at the Summer Stock at the Belfry Theater in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. From what we gathered at the time, Paul Newman was poor and mowed the lawn in exchange for rent.

Additionally, there has been another famous person who has stayed here, J.D. Salinger. He stayed in the Log Cabin Suite for one entire summer while he was writing the book "Catcher In The Rye."

From Milwaukee

Take I-43 South and exit at Hwy 67 (Exit #25)
Turn left off of exit onto Hwy 67 South.
Go to the first stop sign and turn left onto Hwy 50 East.
Go 2.7 miles. We are on the right.
(Takes about 45 minutes)

From the Chicago area

Take I-94 or Hwy 12 North to Hwy 50.
Go west on Hwy 50 to Lake Geneva.
Go all the way through Lake Geneva.
When Hwy 50 becomes a 4 lane highway again, go about 2 1/2 more miles and we are on the left.
(Takes about 1 and 1/2 hours)

From Madison

Take I-90 East to the Highway 11 East Exit.
Take Highway 11 East to Delavan.
In Delavan, turn right onto Highway 50 East.
Go about 6 miles and you will come to a stop sign at the Highway 67 intersection.
Continue straight. Go another 2.7 miles on Highway 50 and we are on the right.
(Takes about 1 hour)

From Rockford

Take I-90 West to Beloit.
From Beloit, take I-43 North to Delavan and exit at Highway 50.
Turn right onto Hwy 50 East.
Go about 4 miles and you will come to a stop sign at the Highway 67 intersection.
Continue straight. Go another 2.7 miles on Highway 50 and we are on the right.
(Takes about 1 hour)

From Janesville

Take Highway 11 East to Delavan.
In Delavan, turn right onto Highway 50 East.
Go about 6 miles and you will come to a stop sign at the Highway 67 intersection.
Continue straight. Go another 2.7 miles on Highway 50 and we are on the right.
(Takes about 40 minutes)
