Your stay at Phipps Inn includes a full breakfast every day. You may choose to have breakfast served in the privacy of your room, in the spacious and elegant Dining Room or on one of the porches.

Be it honeymoon, anniversary, or simply a romantic Wisconsin getaway, the romantic suites of this Victorian, Queen Anne Inn will not disappoint. Accommodations include a queen size bed with feather bed and down comforter, luxurious Comphy sheets and MyMiracle pillows, fireplace, double whirlpool tub and private bath with separate shower. Amenities include spa-type bathrobes, bath salts, clock radio/CD player, hair dryer and Knoke's chocolate creams. Sunday-Thursday prices exclude holidays. All rates are per night.

Queen Anne's Suite
Formerly the maid's chamber, this royal space boasts a flickering gas fireplace seen on one side from the antique half-canopy brass feather bed, and on the other side from the large sunken whirlpool tub in the sun porch. Soak in the original claw foot tub, luxuriate in the double shower, or view the sun setting on the St. Croix River.

Bridget's Suite

This romantic suite features a four-poster white wicker canopy bed and original Italian tiled wood-burning fireplace. The whirlpool bath is in the gorgeous over-sized bathroom. Look out in all four directions from the windows in the octagonal turret. An abundance of natural light gives this space a special glow. Bridget’s Suite was on the cover of "Victorian Decorating and Lifestyle."

Master Suite
Mr. & Mrs. Phipps slept in this handsome suite featuring a pine four-poster canopy bed. Similar in size to Bridget's Suite, the Master Suite also has an original Italian tiled wood-burning fireplace and stunning bathroom. Climb through the window to a small, private, screened porch and watch the sun set over the St. Croix.

Peacock Chamber
This redwood-paneled getaway offers a breathtaking mahogany half-tester bed. The fireplace can be seen from the bed as well as from the large whirlpool tub that will delight you with its built-in waterfall. The peacocks provide an elegant welcome. This is a place you won't want to leave!

Willow Chamber
The Willow Chamber derives its name from the soft willow-colored walls and our proximity to Willow River State Park.  Enjoy the fireplace from the wrought-iron, four-poster, curtained bed. The double whirlpool tub is under the eaves with a view down to the St. Croix River. You'll have quiet seclusion in this third-floor retreat.

Victoria's Room
An intimate and charming retreat with bay windows and a brass bed. The antique furnishings, unique whirlpool bath and shower, and fireplace at the foot of the bed are irresistible. This cozy getaway is decorated in Victorian lace and floral motif and awaits your special evening.

Here at the Phipps Inn, we wish you the romantic Wisconsin weekend you've been needing.  For your convenience, we have listed all the policies of this Hudson, Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast, so you know what to expect during your visit.  If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
Reservations: All reservations are held with a credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, we will accept that upon arrival.
Cancellation policy:  The Phipps Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.  Your credit card will be authorized for the full amount of your stay 14 days prior to your arrival.  If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.
•We are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly.  In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 14 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook the room(s), a refund less a service charge may be made.
•We understand that cancellations may be beyond your control.  For this reason we recommend purchasing cancellation insurance for your peace of mind.  You can purchase travel insurance here through iTravelInsured.
•In the event of a last minute cancellation, we are not able to issue a gift certificate for a future stay.
•Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, multiple room bookings, and for some holidays and special events.
•Cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made by telephone and verbally acknowledged.
Check-in time:  4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  If you require a later time, please let us know with a phone call. Early check in by prior arrangement only.
Check-out time:  11:00 a.m.
Pets: The Phipps Inn is pet-free environment.  Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.
Rates: Room rates are based on double occupancy.
Gift Certificates: We accept Phipps Inn gift certificates as well as gift certificates issued by Inns of the Valley, Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast Association, BnBfinder, and  BedandBreakfast.com.  Some restrictions may apply when using a third party certificate.  If you have a gift certificate and are making an on line reservation, please tell us in the "special needs" section along with the gift certificate source, number and amount.  Redemption of undisclosed gift certificates may be subject to a service charge.
Dietary Needs: If you have a dietary constraints or are allergic to certain foods, please let us know when you make your reservation.  We will make a reasonable attempt to accommodate your diet.
Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the Phipps Inn.  A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
Candles: For guest safety and the protection of this historic house and its furnishings, the use of candles in guest rooms is prohibited.
