The Hillcrest Inn offers the guest warmth, serenity and beauty. As you enter the gates to Hillcrest you drive between the original pillars. Approaching the main house where the magnificent panoramic view unfolds before you, the breathtaking scene of rivers and lakes with flower gardens everywhere means...you have arrived. As you experience the breathtaking view this inn offers, you can understand why the home's original owners, the Caldwells, chose this four acre site to build their Edwardian Mansion in 1908. As the owners of this beautiful estate, Gayle and Mike Hohner welcome you to relax and enjoy the lovely antiques, magnificent grounds, and attention to detail which will make your stay memorable. We are located only minutes to Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

Breakfast is the second word in Bed & Breakfast and The Hillcrest Inn & Carriage House takes it very seriously. Not only do we serve a great four course breakfast, but we also include "Chocolate In Every Breakfast".

The by-pass has been completed around Burlington.  Off of all Highways entering Burlington from the north, south, or southwest, take Hwy. 36/11 by-pass west until the Chestnut Street exit.  Go east 2 miles on Chestnut to our property [549 Chestnut].  Off of Hwy. 11 from the west, take the first exit maked Chestnut Street.  Go east 2 miles on Chestnut to our property [549 Chestnut]

If the entrance on Chestnut is closed due to weather, proceed to Pleasant St.  Turn right, follow to top of hill and turn right again on Storle Ave.  Proceed to Hillcrest at end of street on your right.

The original carriage trail has been reopened - enter directly from Hwy. 11; 549 W. Chestnut Street. This is the most scenic and our prefered route to The Hillcrest Inn.

Or Highway 11 West From Downtown Approximately 6 Blocks To Pleasant Ave. South on Pleasant, 2 Blocks to the top of the hill, turn Right on Storle Ave. continue to just before the dead end.  The Hillcrest Inn is on your right.
