The five bed and breakfasts look and feel rustic with log walls, period pieces and wood burning fireplaces. They are actually fully modern with kitchens, heating and air conditioning, laundry facilities and a "seasonal outdoor swimming pool".We have two meeting and dining facilities. The Welcome Center and Heritage Hall which also houses our on-site Craft store for guests to find the treasures they've been looking for.
The Log Church at the Heritage Farm Museum and Village is the focal point of the community. It was not unusual for an entire community to worship at the same church, thus making the church equally important as the home and school in shaping the hearts, minds, and souls of every member of the community. The Church can seat up to 80 and is perfect for hosting weddings, renewing your vows, reunions, etc.Winner of NSDAR Medal for Historic Preservation
We hope that your visit to Heritage Farm Museum and Village gives you a better understanding and appreciation of how hard our forefathers had to work to keep food on their tables, clothing on their bodies, and a roof over their heads. Guests will find the tranquility and simplicity an inspiration for their daily life.
