Deer Park Country Inn & Restaurant

P.O. Box 817 , Buckhannon, West Virginia
Innkeeper(s): Deirdre & Henry Brost, Innkeepers
The inn includes an 18th Century log cabin, turn-of-the century farmhouse, and a newly constructed Victorian wing. Detailed period architectural restoration is featured throughout. About 400 feet from the inn is the two-story lodge, a 19th Century log cabin with attached wing which offers three gracious bedrooms, a fireplace as large as a man is tall, and two wrap-around porches-perfect for watching fireflies or shooting stars or even snow flakes falling on deep pine forests. All the rooms and suites of both buildings are richly furnished with fine antiques and collectibles, ferns and fresh flowers and crisp cotton linens. Each presents its own personality, as well as central air conditioning, its own private bath, TV, telephone, and other amenities.
