The Shelburne Country Inn is a true American classic, located in Seaview, in southwest Washington State on the Long Beach Peninsula. Originally established in 1896 as a retreat for visitors from Portland, the Inn has operated continuously since that time. A relaxing retreat for city dwellers, a sublime sanctuary for nature lovers, this country inn houses fifteen thoughtfully appointed, antique-furnished guest rooms, all with private bath and most with a private deck. The modern traveler will reach the inn from Portland in 2 1/2 hours or from Seattle in 3 1/2.
Guests delight in all of the dining experiences offered at the inn. The Innkeepers' gourmet breakfast is complimentary with a room. The nationally-acclaimed Shoalwater Restaurant with its award-winning wine cellar and the well-stocked, more casual Heron & Beaver Pub/Cafe are right on the premises.
Located between the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean, The Shelburne Inn is surrounded by stunning scenery. The peninsula is known for its 28 miles of sandy beach, festivals, oyster farming, cranberry growing and recreation.
Browsing the many antique shops, bookstores, galleries and second-hand places in the Peninsula villages can net some very special "finds," or, take a walk on the beach for a moment of quiet contemplation.
Outdoor activities in the area include clamming (in season), picnicking, surf fishing, golfing, boating, deep-sea fishing, horseback riding on the beach, hiking, wild mushroom hunting, kayaking, and birdwatching.

We have lodging facilities for 15 people (single occupancy) and 33 people at maximum bed occupancy.
